TVS Motor Company on Wednesday reported a 49 per cent year-on-year (YoY) rise in its consolidated

net profit

for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, to ₹841 crore, compared with ₹566 crore in the year-ago period.

The company said in its regulatory filing that revenue from operations stood at ₹14,755.52 crore in Q3FY26, up 34 per cent from ₹11,034 crore reported in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.

Operating EBITDA for the December quarter rose by 51 per cent to ₹1,634 crore, compared with ₹1,081 crore a year earlier. EBITDA margin stood at 13.1 per cent, compared with a normalised margin of 12.4 per cent in the same quarter last year. For the nine months ended December 2025, operating EBITDA increased by 41 per cent to ₹4,406 crore from ₹3,121 crore.

Vehicle sales rise across segments

Total two-wheeler and three-wheeler sales, including international business, rose by 27 per cent to 15.44 lakh units in the quarter ended December 2025, compared with 12.12 lakh units a year earlier.

Motorcycle sales increased by 31 per cent to 7.26 lakh units, while scooter sales rose by 25 per cent to 6.14 lakh units. International two-wheeler sales grew by 35 per cent to 3.66 lakh units. Three-wheeler sales rose to 0.60 lakh units during the quarter.

For the nine months ended December 2025, overall vehicle sales increased by 23 per cent to 43.28 lakh units, compared with 35.27 lakh units in the same period last year. Motorcycle sales rose to 20.19 lakh units, scooter sales to 17.52 lakh units, and international two-wheeler sales to 10.47 lakh units. Three-wheeler sales stood at 1.59 lakh units.

Electric vehicle volumes increase

Electric vehicle sales rose by 40 per cent to 1.06 lakh units in the quarter ended December 2025, compared with 0.76 lakh units a year earlier.

For the nine-month period, electric vehicle sales increased by 26 per cent to 2.56 lakh units, up from 2.03 lakh units in the corresponding period of the previous year.
